Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A way to skip over typical and expensive tourist experiences, and feel like you're a Roman in Rome, a bit. This has always been how I like to travel: blend in to the scene and not worry about standing out. Couchsurfing can lend that experience to the traveler.

Interests

Yoga, chats, psychology (finding the 'but why' to a situation), family, dogs, cats (sometimes), rock climbing, travel, old-growth forests (preservation and frequent visits), the ocean, hiking, finding a good vista... Speaking other languages, singing, writing music with my piano. Taking care of my skin, practicing good hygiene, dressing well. Speaking my mind, finding people with whom I can do that. Smiling.

My lifelong experience living in Vancouver, West Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. Some access to my car (I go back and forth between these places, so can offer rides here and there). Friendship, camaraderie, a beer and a smoke.
