I'm an avid reader especially of non-fiction, history, bios, adventure and memoirs.
I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, tennis, skiing, sailing and scuba diving.
I've always enjoyed travelling and during a gap year at university I hitchhiked across the US and spent a summer in Europe.

When I found out about CS a few years a I decided to do a 3 month road trip across the US visiting art galleries, national parks and historic sites. One of the best things about that trip was all the great people I got to meet that welcomed me into their homes. It was so enjoyable sharing stories with CS hosts and also getting recommendations on local places to visit. CS has made travel twice as enjoyable because of the people I've met and stayed with along the way. Meeting new people, sharing their stories and learning new things from their experiences has enhanced the travel experience for me.
