I am 21 years old and just graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. I graduated with a nursing degree and over the four years there was involved in band, choir, and volleyball. I am going to be living in the Twin Cities next year and working at the University of Minnesota hospital. I love to ski, cook, bake, read, golf, be on the water, and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel but since I just graduated college I'm on a bit of a budget so this is a good way to travel cheap. I also strongly believe that the best and most fulfilling part of travel is the sharing of culture and experiences and this is one of the best days to do that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I will listen to just about anything but lately have been listening to a lot of indie folk, folk country, and modern rock. One of my favorite artists is Jon Bellion

Movies: I love a good rom com but some other favorites are Braveheart, The Friend, and Miracle

Books: I always like to say my favorite book is the last one I read. I read anything and everything. I am currently reading the Joy Luck Club and some of my all time favorites are Percy Jackson, Siddhartha, The Old Man and the Sea, and Out of Africa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to spend a summer in college and work on a commercial fishing boat in Alaska. I ended up working on a salmon boat in Kodiak for 3 months and had a great time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to be able to share a meal or a signature dish. I’m always up for some interesting conversations and some card games. Happy to chip in around the house as well.
