I'm currently living in Germany, near Augsburg. After leaving school I'm travelling in Europe. I like meeting new people and talking with them about their philosophy for life. So I like staying in Taizé, because there are so many people who don't mind talking about their beliefs to strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to gain new experiences with new people, get better at socializing, improve language skills and get to know the culture of a country better by meeting and living with citizens.

Interests

I love playing guitar (acoustic, western and electric) for 10 years now. It's the only thing I don't get bored of after a while. Another passion of mine is coffee. I learned how to roast raw coffee beans, some methods of brewing it, how fine the beans must been grinded and so on. But there are so many things yet to learn and sometimes I wonder if one should make such a simple thing so difficult. Apart from that I enjoy drawing, especially architecture. This hobby had suffered a little during school where drawing and painting became annoyingly theoratic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:

If I had to choose a favourite movie it would be The Sting, followed by Once Upon A Time In America. Other movies I really enjoyed were Memento, Fight Club, The Godfather movies, Birdman, Goodfellas, Inception, Rear Window...
But I'm also watching many Videos on YouTube.

Books:

Some books I prefer are The Unbearable Lightness Of Being, Narcissus and Goldmund (as many other books by Hermann Hesse), 1984, 1Q84, Veronika Decides To Die (and more of Paulo Coelho), Lord of the Rings, Bartimaeus (my favourite books when I was younger), The Longest Way
etc.
I'm also a huge fan of wattpad.

Music:

I like many different types of music:
As a guitar player I'm into guitar music like Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanual, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler...
and also bands like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Guns'n Roses, Iron Maiden, etc.
I really like old american or german rap and some of the younger rappers, too.
Käptn Peng and some Reggea, Metal, Punk and a little bit House.
