About Me
Since I am moving to Duesseldorf, I currently can't accept guests in Münster.
Hey, my Name is Lars and I live in Düsseldorf, Germany. I love good discussions even more than a good read. When I travel, I enjoy the outdoors the most. Hiking between trees or in the mountains. Ahh… Getting into nature is my everlasting desire. When that s not in, I like to go for a run, cycle or enjoy a walk around home. I also do some volunteer work for the green party and more recently got involved in a project in my hometown.
I also enjoy baking and cooking vegan meals. My homemade pizzas and burgers could already put a smile on a couple of faces.
Since last September I am trying to get more into photography, but it is a slow process I feel.

Music, Movies, and Books
To name some: Apparat, Nils Frahm, Grand brothers, Half Moon Run, Dominik Eulberg, Rage Against the Machine, Superpoze, David August, Christian Löffler, Weval, The American Dollar, This will destroy you, Thylacine, Niklas Paschburg, Dire Straits, Auditorium by Mos Def is probably my favorie hiphop piece and I like many more. Also some Rock, classic rock, blues; jazz....
I listen to almost any style of music. Although there are some exemptions, my taste is really broad, and I am always keen on finding new awesome pieces.
That goes for the books, too. Even though I find that I am reading too much nonfiction. I love a good book and the hunt for the next one will never end. Some of my favorites: A farewell to arms, A little life, No shortcuts to the top, Flights by Olga Tokacuk and the golden spruce by John Vaillant.
I do not watch TV, but I enjoy good movies a lot. Some favorites: Gattaca, City of God, Blade Runner, The thin red line.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling around Canada. Couchsurfing, Solo Hiking.. Hosting .. can't really name one experience, I guess it is the sum of them all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some great dishes and cooking. I once promised the best porridge ever, but unfortunately that didn't work out the way it was supposed to. Anyway, this gives me stories to tell. I also like to share musik and books of course. Pretty much anything I can, actually.
