About Me

I could do the standard describing myself stuff but instead I hope you’ll get kind off an idea of who I am via this comparison chart:
I prefer hiking over walking and biking over driving, salty over sweet, wine over beer, snow over rain, studying over wasting time, buying stuff in real life over on the internet, consoles over PCs, trying something new over trying something I've done before, diving into a cold mountain lake over lying on a hot beach, running more over eating less, mountains over the ocean (that’s actually a really close one), healthy over junk food, coffee over that hot water called tea, a surprise visitor over one who was planned, sunrises over sunsets and obviously couchsurfing over staying in a hotel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Everyone of us shares this same incredible spirit, the spirit of being open minded, hospitable and a traveler, which are honestly the best things ever. I think I’ll never be tired of meeting new fellow surfers and I hope I get the chance to host as many of you guys as possible soon.

Interests

Being outside and active no matter the weather! This involes pretty much all individual sports or just wondering around in cities and mother nature. If I am being lazy I will most likely read a book or watch YouTube videos.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually I've not only listened to almost every genre of music there is, but also liked bits of everything (with a few exceptions if course). If I'd to pick my top three favourite bands, they'd be Tame Impala, Linkin Park and Imagine Dragons.

Man, this is not easy either.. I know what I don't like and that's horror movies. Besides that, I enjoy a good comedy as much as a drama. Top Five: 1. Twelve Years a Slave, 2. Lord of the Rings ( counting those as one), 3. Forrest Gump, 4. The Nice Guys, 5. Ratatouille

I'm into historical Books, especially about World War I/II and the 19th und 20th Century. My favourite novels are "The Catcher in the Rye", "All Quiet on the Western Front" and "Krabat".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling the US for three months. Hitchhiking and road tripping through 24 of the beautiful American states gave me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and meet sooo many amazing people. And hands down the best occasions were with fellow couchsurfers offering me a place to stay, exploring cities, road tripping and becoming friends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I was born in Northern Germany and have lived here since then. Thus I can offer you a closer look into our culture and share some German humor with you (if something like this exists inside us angry and strict Germans xD ). If you like German food, I'll definitely cook you a delicious Schnitzel. I love meeting new and interesting personalities and maybe we will be staying in contact or even built up a friendship. If you think about travelling to Germany one day, I'll absolutly love to be your host this time around!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Peru, Poland, Spain, Turkey, United States
