Overview
About Me
Originally from Germany, lived in Thailand for a few years and currently in Sydney. I work in Online Marketing and enjoy the freedom of being able to work from everywhere with my laptop...
-----
I am not a local but I lived in Bangkok quite a while and am super curious about everything - so I think I know quite a lot about Thai culture.
I live a simple lifestyle.
I love traveling and adventures
I usually travel cheap and beside the tourist areas where I can get an authentic impression of the culture.
I'm spontaneous and up for almost everything
I care about the environment and try to reduce my footprint on this world.
I am not religious but I am interested in other people's religion
My mission is to see the world, make great experiences, find new friends all over the world and learn about their culture and lifestyle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To host, surf and meet all you great people here on CS. I'm really looking for that cultural exchange.
I rather have deep conversations with people than small talks. I want to get to know you and your culture and therefore will be asking a lot of personal questions.

Make sure to check out these local places in Bangkok:
- Rama VIII bridge. There's a plaza under the bridge. Great view on the river and beautiful bridge. Some streetfood too. The only foreigner you might see here is me. Usually a lot of local activities between 6p.m - 9p.m
-ChangChui: Vintage quarter with great vibes. Closed on Wednesdays. Opens at 4p.m.
Make sure to use taximeter when using taxi. Double check, that the meter starts at 35 Baht.
If possible, try to take boat public transport or BTS/MRT. Busses are super crowded and get stuck in traffic. Links to public transportation websites (more reliable and details than Google maps):
