Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Right now: to travel and meet new people, to live well and enjoy all aspects of life. Then: To find a new job - as well as carrying on with everything above.
ABOUT ME
curious about the world - and especially its people. Dream about working in relation to The EU and/or with qualitative research. Like sports, arts, politics, music (just learned like three chords on the guitar) good food, good friends, strangers, laughing, excitement and much more.
Love meeting new people, discovering new places and learning in general. Also more than wiling to share what I know - for example about my city or country if you ever come to visit.
PHILOSOPHY
Be yourself, be open, be positive, passionate and kind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live in a shared apartment so will have to clear any requests with my roommate. We do have a shared living room with a comfy couch and I my self will never say no if I am not hosting any one else at the time. So don't be shy to ask :)
Currently, I am looking for hosts that would like to let me stay at their place and maybe also hang out and do something cultural or just fun/educational on one or more occasions during my stay. I am visiting Guadeloupe mostly to learn how to surf (tried it in January for two hours and found out that it is the purpose of my life - for now, at least) but also to see and discover as much as possible of beautiful Guadeloupe and its people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Went to a lot of meet-ups when I lived in Helsinki and stayed with the same host in Brussels three times when I visited during work on my thesis. Also loved with and met people via CS when I was recently in Barcelona.
Interests
Hmm... Where to start? Music, nature, technology, politics, sports, good TV shows and movies, aesthetics, art, communication, research, people, laughing, being reckless, sharing and discussing "big" thoughts and ideas, friends, strangers and much more. Oh: and SURFING!

Music, Movies, and Books
So. Many...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having lunch in a room filled with ambassadors and the Finnish Prime Minister, when I was an intern at The Danish Embassy in Helsinki. Not amazing in istself, but it FELT pretty weird to be talking with the 4 ambasadors at my table about russians and the threat of war, since I know VERY little about the subject. Luckily, the Irish ambassador was at my table, which meant that I could always turn to him and talk about football...
Oh, and quitting my job recently felt pretty amazing too :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
It sounds like a cliché and seems like something you almost HAVE to state here on CS - but I really DO love meeting new people, which means that I will enjoy spending some time together during my stay to either just talk, hang out, go out, do something cultural, do something that gets us out of our comfort-zones (let's have a brainstorm) or all of the above - whatever you prefer, including leaving you alone if you are busy.
I would also love to cook us up a Danish meal or something as a sort of thank you for letting me stay.
I will also be happy to return the favour if you ever decide to come to Copenhagen.
