ABOUT ME

I am a Dutch food technologist, who worked in several countries, and who after years abroad came back to his home country again (for now).
I am a well educated and well travelled person, and who always likes to get to know new people, cultures and of course to get to know myself better through my travels and encounters, etc.

Depending on the dates, I can offer my couch or double air mattress) to people (1-2 persons).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several people and couples in Bolivia and Germany. I surfed 1 couch in Bolivia. It was a nice experience.

Interests

There is hardly nothing that does not interest me. I love to read or discuss science, history, geography, politics, biology, food and nutrition (of course), spiritualism, psychology, etc. etc.
My more active interests are all kind of sports, extreme sports, yoga, meditation, volleyball, trekking, 4x4 driving, motorcycling, photography and TRAVELING

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled and worked all over the world, and still doing that right now.

Mountain climbing, repelling from bridges/buildings/mountians/waterfalls, skydiving, rafting, downhill mountain biking, bungy jumping, carting (160 km/h), etc.

Seen several of the 7 NEW world wonders
I have seen;
Machu Picchu, Peru
Petra, Jordan
The Roman Colosseum, Italy
The Taj Mahal, India.
Great Pyramid of Giza
But I would add Ankor Wat in Cambodia as a wonder too!!!
