I recently relocated to the Ventura, CA area to make my dreams come true! Here, I hope to become more successful in my career as a therapist, find a deeper sense of community, learn to surf, & explore the shit out of my favorite place ever... California!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to make some more friends on here... I have received some great times from surfing & hosting in the past & would like to get back into it... I miss having traveler friends!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Currently, I have only one experience staying on a couch (through this website). It was with a female friend of mine... We stayed with a real nice group of people in San Francisco & they fed and housed us... They were in a band and so we even got to sample some of their tunes! It was an awesome time... As far as hosting, me & my ex-roommate Katrina hosted one couple and hung out with another... Now that my wife & I have moved to California, we hope to have many more experiences with couch surfing!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Burning Man had to be the biggest traveling adventure I have gone on to date. I've been there twice, once in 2004 by myself and in 2005 with Shannaleigh, my then girlfriend of two months... Phenomenal, spiritual, transformational, & debaucherous all at the same time! It is there that I met the Divine Goddess and started a new chapter in my personal spiritual journey ...I also had the time of my life almost two years later when me and my wife Shann went on our first anniversary trip to Sonoma, CA and then up the coast to camp in the Redwoods for about 5 days. There, we camped at Albee Creek Redwoods where we met "Ranger Rob", the chillest park ranger ever to live! He told us after we were angered at the litter bugs leaving their garbage around the area to "not let it take our joy". Very sound advice that we apply to all the things that irritate us about our fellow man. We then camped farther north in the Prairie Creek Redwoods. We met all kinds of creatures there such as the giant bananna slug and the stellar jay, a whimsical bird with a penchant for swooping down from the trees to steal your food! ...There is so much more we'd love to share! Just ask!

Me & my wife Shann can offer some great information! Me and my wife both utilize energy, astrology, and earth magic of various forms and love to share our gifts of spiritual insight and divination. For one, Shannaleigh uses Medicine Cards to track your totem animals and give a profound and insightful look into the energies acting within your psyche. I myself, like to work with stones, chakra meditations & mantras, and other sound therapies... Being a massage therapist, I can offer knowledge about anatomy, natural remedies, nutrition, techniques, energy work to name a few... Shann is also an esthetician and can offer great skin care advice... I also dance with fire poi and love to teach and learn new skills. I am excellent in the kitchen and on the grill. Me and my wife both have some great, healthy recipes anyone would love. (Just a warning: we like ULTRA SPICY food)!! As far as learning I'm down for all kinds of kowledge! Some of the biggest priorities for me are new massage techniques, learning to fly a plane (I've had one lesson before on a Cesna), renewable energy and low carbon footprint living techniques, and learning new poi techniques...
