About Me
CURRENTLY TRAVELLING AND UNABLE TO HOST :(
Greetings, traveller ...
My name is Lars and I have lived in the wonderful city of Copenhagen for a little over two years now.
I guess I'd describe myself as an alternative, open-minded and adventurous person. I love action, crazyness and having fun - you won't catch me spending a day on the couch watching tv anytime soon.
Leaning to the far left politically, but really an anarchist at heart. I think being alive entails a great deal of responsibility, both to our environment and our fellow living creatures, human as well as non human, which is why I'm a vegetarian.
I do my best to be kind to others and of course to be as polite and respectful as possible to anyone showing me the privilige of opening their home to me.
I work part time as a conservationist, and part time as a writer - I think these two facts sum me up pretty nicely: Nature and art are the two pillars of my life.
In my spare time I read tons of stuff, both fiction, non-fiction and comics (warning: huge comic book-fan!) and otherwise enjoy hanging out with my badass friends, go to bars and concerts. I'm heavily tattooed and into alternative music such as punk, hardcore, goth, some metal, post punk and all that kinda jazz :)
I don't get to travel nearly enough but when I do I love to couchsurf and meet with local people - I have found that the great memories are never seeing the tourist attractions, but rather the small adventures or moments you share with others.
I have an extremely diverse group of friends and I always enjoy meeting new, different people, particularly other weirdos/nerds and artists.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just trying to be open and helpful to anyone who contacts me, even if I am not able to host you I will probably be able to meet for coffee or show you around town, so don't hessitate to write me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had only great couchsurfing experience with hosts in New York, Germany and Denmark, and I have found it to be an amazing way to travel and meet new people.
