About Me

Norwegian, currently taking a bachelor in International Studies in The Hague, The Netherlands.

I love to travel, and I am always open to meet new people with a different background than myself. Would it be small conversations over a coffee, an after party at the beach with a guitar, or a coincidental meeting where no one speaks the same language, but still understand each other, it is the spark and inspiration in these meetings that drives me.

Personally, I am have a mix of Norwegian humbleness and openness from meeting different people and cultures. I always seek to understand the ones I meet, and I believe listening is the best tool for good communication.

I also speak good French and a tiny bit of Arabic, as I studied both at university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling and meeting new people. I haven’t done Couchsurfing that much before, so I’m eager to both see other places, and open my own for travelers passing through The Netherlands

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my big passion in life (besides traveling ofc). At the moment I listen to: Tom Misch, Alfa Mist, Jordan Rakei, Charlotte Day Wilson, Jorja Smith and Loyle Carner. But I also have a ear for jazz, blues and rock. If you love rock/metal, let me know, and I’ll give you my Nordic favorites.

Books. I try to read more. I’m currently reading 100 years of solitude, which is absolutely brilliant. Always in for tips tho!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked voluntarily for Project Elea, a local NGO in Athens, Greece. One month that changed my life. Rather than helping others based on privilege, everyone worked together to make the community better.

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Netherlands, Norway
