ABOUT ME

I am an addict to kerozine fuel. My father was an airline employee, so I become one. As my mother is from the former USSR (Kyrgyz SSR) I consider myself half Russian. I love the hospitality of the Russians and if I can I am glad to meet up with different people. I have visited a lot of countries meeting with differnet people and cultures and I love to see the diversity. I beleive I can find my way with everybody, can talk about anything and I think I am easy going, however sometimes hardheaded. I need to change not to see everything in black and white.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I have heard about CS from a passenger on the flight to Rhodes (Hi Ryan - you become a history :-)), I tought that this is amazing and at first I could not beleived that it can happen in our rushed, materialistic world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

:-) I did not know that it was called like this.

in 1997 I had a flight to Moscow and on the way back with a 3h delay a young guy (at that time I was in my early twenties, so he was) asked me could I help him to suggest a hotel where he could stay at as he missed his connection. I offered that he could stay with me, so took him home and the next day showed him around BUD.

In 2007 I have met Mark (UK citizen, living in Germany) on Lubeck-Gdansk flight and offered him that whenever he is in Hungary he can stay at my place (at that time I had a house, but I was getting divorced). He showed up in 2 weeks. A year later we went together to Cluj, Romania as I have been sent there by my company.

兴趣

I love travelling, snorkelling (I have completed a PADI course - so I like to dive as well). Love to meet new people and culture. Love to eat new food :-)!
