Overview
About Me
We don’t have a lot of room, but we may host. Drop a note.
CURRENT MISSION
Writing, rabble rousing, learning, teaching, loving, living. Social justice, feminism, making change where I am able.
ABOUT ME
I’m a writer, coach, and a nonprofit executive. I’m to two grown folx, and am partnered with a sweet spouse.
I’m alcohol free, so I don’t drink — but i don’t mind if you do. (It’s been a year and a half since I made this lifestyle choice.)
I’m queer identified, and genderqueer. My pronouns are they/them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host. I look for couches to surf when I'm going somewhere. I have looked for couches with my family, too. Have yet to be hosted, but look forward to that experience greatly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My folks used to take in weary travelers, so it's a family tradition.
I couchsurfed on and off for years before there was an app for it; much of college, and other times and places. And I have offered not only the couch in my home, but even space in my vehicle to folks in need when I was rambling around and living the nomadic life as a kid. In the past, I hosted friends in rooms in my house for months on end.
I'm learning more and more about the give and take as I get older. I have better boundaries than ever, but I still really enjoy sharing.
Interests
Writing, reading, revolution. I love spending time with my kids and my spouse. I love taking little hikes, and having good meals with good folks.
I’m a family traditions Witch and am always looking to meet other Witchy folx.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Travelled in the West Bank, Palestine, alone, for months in 2007.
- Written books which have been published.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching and learning, or learning and teaching, are what life’s all about. I can teach you how to make a squash soup (just made the recently), or i can teach you how to get a book published. I am also pretty handy out doors.
Im always looking to learn new things. Im a learner for life. Currently learning Scottish Gaelic. Hoping to find out what you might teach me.
I’ve been an activist for decades. If you’re an activist too, I’m sure we can share mutual aid approaches.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good stories, a good meal in many cases, deep conversation.
