About Me

hi there, my name is jeff. i'm a...guy, who likes things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed in Japan for awhile after my apartment ran out and I wanted to stay for a few extra weeks. I stayed with friends in different cities until I felt it was time to go back home. They were all foreigners as well so I got to stay with a few sorts of people with European heritage and an American lass :). it really got me excited for CS so I decided when I was going to travel next I would definitely try using this site.

i have a lot of experience with people crashing at my place. The last few houses I have lived in were all very communal living style and various people couchsurfing at any given moments, from foreigners, to friends and family, to people who had hitchhiked from out east. i love to meet new people so i'm always excited for more people to come stay for awhile!

Interests

music, books, people!
i am down to talk about anything from bach to burroughs, from flaming lips to george lewis. i love to listen & read books & write screenplays.
i love philosophy and humor, travelling and talking about travelling.

i climbed mount fuji in japan with an amazing collection of travellers from all over the world, and had such a great time. 30 hours of straight climbing, then a 6 hour nap on the summit. : )
