ABOUT ME

All about me??? Ok well I'm a realtivly young woman that loves to travel and meet new people. Just started running, Ride bike (as in Bicycle) and try to stay active. I have only been outside the USA once and that was to Nepal (if you ever want to go there look up Info Nepal, great volunteer org.). So I'm at a place in my life that I am able to travel more with a little planning and saving from time to time and I would like to meet people from everywhere (although not sure why a lot of people would want to come to Iowa). I am new to this and open to any suggestions and tips somone might have. Thats about it folks!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to be lived. You will never have enough money to do what you want, so just go do it. Life can only be planed to a point. Know that point and go with the flow. Nothing works out the way you plan anyway.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to host people as well as surf myself when I am able to travel. Aslo I just learned about the local meet ups that I hope to get to join in on here soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just hosted my first two surfers and had a great time. Always nice to meet people from different walks of life.
I have not actually surfed myself yet. But will hopefully get to do it soon!

兴趣

You name it... if I haven't done it I want to try it. Things I do on the regular is bike, skate and run. I paint, sew, and do other crafty things from time to time. Love to be outside and love my two dogs.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Everything I have done is both amazing and non-exciting. I went to Nepal for a month about 5 years ago, but haven't been able to travel abroad since I got a "adult" job and started focussing on my career. I plan to change that soon. I was in AmeriCorps NPRC. I responded to national disasters in the US (first responder to Katrina). Other than that a lot of local volunteering and trying to see the world when I get a chance.

I like open minded people. People you can talk to that like to share their view and not disrespect yours at the same time. Although it takes a lot to offend me and I can normally talk and learn from anyone.
