One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Turkiye we can handle calculate money, but outside of our country people can not do it well. When I was in Dusseldorf in 2007 I tried to get a sigarette. The box of Malboro includes 17 filter of sigarette had a cost of 5,5 euro. I gave to a salesman 10 euro banknote and 50 euro cent for it. So he took 50 cent in one hand and 10 euro other hand stare on my eyes and tell me "why you give me both of them, what can I do for you". In brief after e few minutes later I understood that he couldnt achieve to give me one sigarette and 5 euro payment. Then I want both money back. After that give 10 euro to him. He gave me a sigarette and pay 4,5 coin euros. I put 50 cent into 4,5 euro coins, gave it to salesman and ask for 5 euro banknote. After a few seconds the man cried "sheet! all that your claim for not to carry lots of coins". We loghed together. In addition it was surprised me the box include 17 and 24 sigarettes. When I asked the reason they explain me about taxes; in Germany government put a tax on one piece of sigarettes, not evaluate for box.
