I'm a outdoorsy, social and happy adventurer living in the far North with my wife Albina and our puppy Skygge and cat Shekel!

I live for outdoor adventures, and will prioritize to host travelers who want to see and do exiting things in the wonderful nature that surrounds Tromsø. I'm spontaneous and don't plan that far ahead so I prefer last minute requests and will flat decline requests further then a month ahead in time unless you give me very good reasons not to.

I prefer my bribes with alcohol content in them ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm happy to welcome people from around the world, in the hope of being inspired to see new places and to learn about different cultures. I have made many good friends through Couchsurfing and hope to make many more.

When I are travel I always prefer staying with couchsurfers because it gives an unique possibility to meet locals and experience genuine culture.

Interests

I live for outdoor adventures, love to be out in nature and staying active. I find being out in the mountains without to many people around meditative and I love action sports. I am an enthusiastic hobby chef and home brewer, and I try to cook everything from the ground up. I hunt and butcher my own meat, cure and smoke it, and make my own bacon, sausages, cured ham, kimchi etc.

I am lucky enough to work at a satellite ground station, supporting space craft and find my work very interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories and experiences from my life in the very north of Norway (even on Svalbard, the northern most town on earth): wonderful northern lights, beer brewing, nature adventures, hunting and much more.

I am really interested in cooking so I'm very happy to cook for or with you and always interested in local cousin. I care about the whole process of cooking.

You are more then welcome to join me skitouring, free diving, mountain climbing and on hikes as long as you have the basic skills and equipment.
