HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to both benefit from, and help to develop the CS project. I guess that both things are mutually dependent? I really want to experience the connections that can be established through a community like this, and i will do my utmost to be a welcoming host for those coming to my home city. Also, I want to learn from other people, and discover cultures, countries and cities through their point of view, in order to establish understanding across all kinds of borders.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It wasn't through CS, but just by coincidence. I was sitting in a park in Belgrade reading, and I spotted two guys like 50 meters away. I could somehow tell they were Danes like me, and when they walked by me, I just said "hello"... We chatted for a while, and we went out to check out the nightlife of Belgrade later that evening. Next day I took them sightseeing in my car to the kinds of places that I guess they would not have seen if they had just followed the guidebook. It was a fun experience, and I think they felt the same way :) Good people can be found just by coincidence, i guess!

兴趣

Seeing different places, and learning how people live. For me it is not enough to walk around and look at buildings. I want to meet and talk to people, and learn something REAL! :)
