ABOUT ME

Hi. My name is Lasse I'm 23 years old and I'm a traveller from Denmark.

My goal is to see as much of the world as possible, and while I'm doing it I wanna broaden my perspective by meeting and getting to know as many people as possible. I love being free from attachment and that is why I choose to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because I can. I want to explore the world from my own perspective. I studied philosophy in Denmark, but I feel like I learn a lot more of the world when I'm travelling. I travel to challenge my own ideas about the world and to be open to possibilities that might arise. I love chaos, but not in a chaotic way. I feel peace when I don't have to plan my life and can take it one day at a time. Things feel more natural when you're not "trying" to do them. I look upon the world in which we live with a wonder and I love to exchange ideas about life and the universe with people. But at the same time I love to talk about the weather or that which is right in front of you. It is very important for me that the ideas and thoughts that I believe are true (for me) makes me a happier and more openminded person. But ideas are just ideas, they don't have any intrinsic meaning. For me human language is a tool and not a thing which we should identify ourselves with. There is much more to life than we can capture with this tool. I feel love for all people I meet, because I recoqnise them as a part of my life. We are all in this together. This is it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had one couchsurfing experience, and that was while I was travelling in India. It was a good experience and I really enjoyed getting to know the guy, much more enjoyable than staying at backpackers. Looking forward to many more great experiences in the futute.

Interests

Music, drawing, writing, thinking, dancing, watching, doing, not doing, walking, breathing, being, talking, silence, noise and so on. I have many interest and I'm always open for new things. It's important for me to try as many different things as possible as I think that is what makes you grow as a person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't consider it an amazing thing. But one of the most important things I've done in my life was to go travel in India on my own. It changed me as a person, and my life is now more of a journey than before, or at least I'm more aware of it.
