Overview
About Me
I'm easy going, mild mannered and respectful. I love getting to know people, especially in foreign countries and places. I have the privilege of flying standby for very cheap, so I tend to travel a lot and on very short notice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was in Paris in 2011 and the arrangements I had made didn't work out as expected so I ended up unexpectedly couch surfing on my friend's host family's couch (after they graciously offered). I told that story to my friend and he recommended me to this website.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to North Scotland with my Grandpa and Aunt to see the town where our ancestors were from.
Stayed at a flower farm near Stockholm, Sweden and got to know the family there. The mother was my mom's twin sister's roommate back in California in the 70s.
Visited my brother while he was living in Beijing and hiked along the unrestored part of the great wall.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love being able to share the knowledge and experiences I have gained over the years. Traveling has opened up many doors, so just ask!
Food is a passion of mine that I enjoy sharing.
