About Me
I love to learn, laugh, and eat good food. I try to make everyday 1% better than the previous.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share in time, laughter, stories and lessons that we've all learned. Only in recent years have I really taken an interest in understanding as much as I can about human behaviour, motivations, desires and what it means to have a Self. I am endlessly curious about others' interests, ideas and inspirations. I've learned that as much as I learn, there is that much more that I now know I don't know, and meeting people with different experiences and perspectives from my own gives me that much more to question.
Interests
Recently dove into training Jiu-Jitsu, practicing yoga, and making exercise a daily ritual. Most of my time is spent exercising, reading, or working with the kiddos.
I spend my downtime reading books, listening to podcasts, writing, and learning about whatever I'm curious about that day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered at Elephant Nature Park for one week in Thailand, but after that I volunteered with The Elephant Orphanage Project in Zambia. Baby elephants that are orphaned, injured or seperated from their herd are rescued, rehabilitated and eventually released into Kafue National Park as wild elephants. I learned so much, and had the privelage of witnessing for myself the care and dedication that goes into this project. I walked with elephants every morning, observing and documenting their behaviour. To me, that is paradise.
Teach, Learn, Share
Most of what I learn or find truly valuable has come from conversation, podcasts and books. I love to share perspectives, theories and discoveries with other people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My "infectious passion"? Haha! I love to be transparent and to find commonalities between myself and others. I'm helpful around the house and love to cook together (if you're into it). I love to laugh, and make people laugh, to truly connect with people in a meaningful way.
