About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Restitching Pangea's torn seams.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Southern California, within an hour from LA. I'm half Hungarian and a quarter German and English. I Have been working in the TV and film industry for 5 years and recently started my own animation and visual fx company. I've been traveling off and on for the last 2 years. I spend about 4-5 months outside of the US each year. At this point my greatest passion in life is traveling, and work merely supplements my travel money, so every month or so I'm off again to somewhere new.
PHILOSOPHY
If I had to chose, I'd rather risk dying on an adventure than live a safe, uneventful life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host as much as I can, sometimes 1 surfer a week if I'm not busy with work or traveling. I also surf and try to find a CS'er in any new city or country I travel to. They always make my experience amazing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every couchsurfer I've met has been amazing. I've learned so much from them, and enjoy sharing my knowledge as well. Most of them are now great friends that I talk to on a daily basis.
Interests
Films inspire me. Music drives me. Surfing, snowboarding, road trips, photography, live concerts, good food, fine wines, guitar, Mbira, German beer. Getting lost in a new country. Losing my bearings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Drove through a vicious lightning storm at dawn at the Wyoming/South Dakota border. Seeing the bolts hit less than 100 feet away humbled me to levels I never thought existed.
Watched the sunset over the cliffs of Phi Phi Island, Thailand with a cocktail in hand and not a single car, road, or 7-11 in sight.
Snorkeled through a swarm of jellyfish in Grand Cayman without being stung.
Snowboarded in Big Bear at 7am and surfed at 3pm in Hunnington Beach. Gotta love California!
Driving through the Andes during a hail storm on the way to Argentina for lunch and cheap petrol.
New Years in Rio de Janeiro with 4 million people on the beach dressed in white, 2 years in a row.
Horseback riding to the Pyramids in Cairo.
Street food in india.
Stranded in the deserts of Peru at 4am.
