One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life isn't about just that one awesome thing to remember. Live every day like it's going to be that one special day in your life and you will see that every day is beautiful!
- Rainbow Gathering in Hungary
- Hitch-hiking in Georgian mountains
- Bringing scared horses from the field in pitch dark with the craziest thunderstorm by the lake Titicaca
- Driving through the biggest floods of the century in Peru
- Watching sunset in Chile by the coast of the Pacific
- Hitch-hiking through the Atacama desert with no hair (I burn very very easily so hair is my protection)
- Organizing a formal three-course dinner party for 60 people while cooking, catering and entertaining everybody, and wearing a fancy dress
- Smoking hookah and playing guitar with my best friends at a park in my hometown
- Helping to castrate llamas in the middle of the field in Bolivia
- Running after cows in the mountains in Iceland
- Doing illegal fishing in Iceland
- Organizing a job in Iceland for a stranger from Georgia
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my culture and you can learn if the stereotypical sayings are true:
- words like “veoauto”, “täieõiguslik” or “jää-äär” sound perfectly pronounceable to us
- estonias have come to realize, through centuries of terror, that there is no god
- there can never be too much sarcasm
- estonians think any beverage below 20% is non-alcoholic
- we think working 35 hours per week is like being on a holiday
- we look in both directions before crossing the road, even if it’s a one-way street
- sour cream tastes good with everything
- we grin when someone you know says that they bought a BMW
- a mention of a town with a population of a million or more causes you to panic slightly
- potato to us is the same as rice to a Japanese
What I Can Share with Hosts
My memories, my love, my passion, my tears and joy. And of course everything I have in my bag.
