About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn as many things as I can, to be happy, to help others be happy

ABOUT ME

I am kind, kind of shy, kind of outgoing, creative, and fun. I LOVE to dance. I am a very very political person but I am not into politics. I hate labels and boxes BUT i am a feminist and more liberal than liberal. And most importantly, I have a three-year old brother named Dele who I live for and absolutely adore!

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy every second of every day and try to lead a good life without harming others or the earth as much as I can.
Live as you wish other human beings on this earth would live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed in Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Burkina faso, Mali, and Senegal. And I'd LOVE to host you!!! I've had so many wonderful hosts around the world; I am eager to pay it forward. I am sort of busy, but would show you around as best I could and COOK yummy things for you and go out dancing with you too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled from Ecuador to Mexico over land in a 9 month trip with my home-town friend Margaret Shields in 2007-2008. We hitch-hiked, camped, and stayed with couchsurfers in every country. Then in spring of 2019, I travelled from my father's home country of Nigeria to Senegal, couchsurfing along the way. So now I would love to return the favor and host anyone I can...

Interests

Dance, social justice activism (latin american issues, immigration, anti-war, gender and queer issues), hoola-hooping, slack-line walking, TRAVELING in non-touristy ways, playing with my baby brother, trying to be a good person... I love to read! And I am currently trying to become a morning person, eat as locally and naturally as possible, and make lots of friends in my new city of New Orleans.
