About Me

Hey there, I’m Claudia.

Born in Italy, raised in Poland, and having lived in various places, I’ve wandered through different lands in search of a place I could call HOME one day. But before that..

I believe the best part of travel is the people you meet along the way, so if you’re up for some good times, let’s hang out and make some memories :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

An incredible experience! I've had the pleasure of meeting fascinating, kind, and wonderful people, and those memories are cherished within me.

Interests

I find joy in cooking—it’s like my love language. The forest is where I feel most alive. Hiking is my thing; it just makes life better. I’m also into keeping healthy, exploring psychology, and mindfulness, staying active with sports, and diving into books, especially reports. Let’s share stories over a delicious meal or a hike :)

Recently, I've also started bouldering and I'm a newbie there, but absolutely loving it! Additionally, sea swimming in Iceland has been a discovery and adventure for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movie classics 'Good Will Hunting,' 'Dead Poets Society,' 'Forrest Gump,' 'The Green Mile,' 'The Godfather.'

I have a diverse taste in music, finding myself drawn to different genres and styles depending on my mood and the situation. I enjoy catching the vibes rather than following one particular artist or style.

When it comes to books, I have a deep admiration for the works of Tiziano Terzani.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I began my solo travels early, exploring Europe on my own in 2006-2013. In 2014, I embarked on a month-long journey to Malaysia, followed by Laos in 2015. In 2016, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in meditation with monks in the north of Thailand (Golden Triangle). The following year, I took a leap of faith and left my job to venture into Southeast Asia for a few months, where I participated in volunteering programs and connected with amazing people across Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia. In 2019, my travels took me to India, where I embarked on a transformative yoga and meditation retreat, as well as a massage course in Rishikesh. Currently discovering the beauty of Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

With years of experience in hospitality and event organization, I've got a knack for turning everyday moments into memorable experiences. I can teach you cooking, practice languages, or do meditation sessions, and we'll embark on a journey of discovery together. Need help planning your dream trip or finding the perfect hiking trail? Consider me your go-to person. Let's share knowledge, learn from each other, and make the most of every moment :)
