Über mich
Hello everyone :)
My name is Jeremiah and I grew up right in the middle of Germany.
I graduated high school in the summer of 2020 and will commence my studies in Hamburg starting September 2021. Up until my moving there, I am seeking to explore the world and to consciously go new ways to learn about myself, humanity and different ways of life.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
Traveling in my eyes is the single most valuable experience in life!
...because you get to live a different one, each journey you take on. And with each time you grow.
In my opinion, those experiences are the ones that matter, that enrich your life most.
At least that's my young mind's philosophy ;)
Sharing those days we have with interesting people, like minds and different cultures is a way to truly get a glance at what the world offers. And I seek to take part in this cultural exchange! That's why I'm using Couchsurfing. Because I think the only way to genuinely learn the way of life in another country is to meet this country and interact with it, interact with the true locals. To take a closer look and take part in their life.
If you only stay in a hotel, you could also visit your own home ;)
I am looking forward to meeting you, new, like-minded people, seeing new cities, countries, continents, and oceans - and of course, I'm willing to in every means contribute to whatever is the need of the generous soul willing to help me on my/our all journey.
See you soon!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I genuinely LOVE Pink Floyd. The same goes for Queen, Alicia Keys or Blixa Bargeld... or every other genre.
I like jazz music and lately dived into aspiring German artists such as Fynn Kliemann, AnnenMayKantereit or Leoniden.
Basically one can excite me for every kind of sound and I straight forward CRAVE for music day in day out.
And I love sharing my experiences with others, talking about how music moves us and what emotions they convey in one and another.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I always plan out my life to the most meticulous extent. But not this time!
Since I even more want to experience spontaneity, now, I took on the challenge to plan nothing, to live in the day and make the best out of it.
My only plan will be my being open-minded and excited for the new.
That's what fills me with joy!
To explain to you how this idea came, I'd like to tell you about this little anecdote:
I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, northern Italy. The bus broke down and I didn't know where to go. But I knew I had to be in Berlin in less than 48 hours though. So I found a last-minute chance to be there on time for a federal competition and I could make it only credits to the impossibly nice receptionist in a little town called Salsomaggiore.
This two days, even today, bring me joy when thinking about it. It was a little adventure, that changed for a bit, how I think about life.
The same happened when I was in Lithuania. It changed my life.
(Gladly, I'd tell you more when we meet :) And listen to your stories!)
Those journeys caused me to think, they excited me and they now lead me to start my new journey.
Because that for me is today, what makes my life interesting, it's the most fulfilling experience and I wish for many more moving forward.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I wish to learn anything.
Anything about you! Anything about the country you live in! Anything about life, philosophy, architecture or law.
And since that's my aspiration for years now, I'd like to humbly state: I'd love to share with you what I learned so far. :)
