About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To grasp the handles.

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Laura. I'm a bit shy, but a bit silly. I like meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I also like looking at pretty things.

PHILOSOPHY

life = stinging nettle: it might whip you when you're unawares, but sometimes you see it first and you get to make tea with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Canada and in the USA and it was a very memorable way to travel.

Interests

Wandering around and poking at stuff in nature. Forests, beaches, gardens. Writing letters. Making collages. Kitchen experiments. Surveying old junk that comes out of your Granny's attic. Dance. And I really like treasure hunts, but I almost never get to do them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I almost died last night... and this morning.. and now as you're reading this... pulling the wool over the bucket not kicking it, leaping over those six feet under! I'm pretty darn sure I accidentally keep miraculously escaping sudden death!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can do language exchange!

I'm vegetarian, so I can teach you how to make some vegetarian food.
