ABOUT ME

I'm just updating this now (2/2012) after taking a long hiatus from the site...SO...that being said, huge apologies for not responding to any emails along the way!!! I am getting back into the traveling and hosting mindset, and am ready to meet new people again :)

I am an adventurous, open minded, curious, sometimes serious, sometimes funny outgoing individual quite new to couch surfing. I've been traveling quite a bit with others over the past few years and I am looking to set out solo in the next few months. During my previous travels, I've met many people who have raved about couch surfing experiences and I'm looking forward to making some of my own!

I am currently a nurse practitioner in Boston. I want to contribute and make a difference in humanity. I work hard, but I like to play as well. I love finding the humorous in any situation and exploring not only what lies in the rest of the world but whats in my very own backyard here in Boston.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, and too many people spend it worrying aobut what will happen down the road or around the corner, and never stop to appreciate what is right in front of them.

The past is history, the future a mystery. Today is a gift, thats why they call it the present :) Ok...cliche, perhaps, but strikingly true dont you think?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had taken a long break from traveling and hosting because work got so busy, but I"m back! I've had great experiences hosting here in Boston, and have likewise met many great people all over Europe. I think many cultures and differences that make up people on this tiny planet are fascinating. We are all so varied and for this I am thankful, because we have so very much to learn from one another.

兴趣

I love traveling (of course) but I also love to read. I enjoy a good party, and I value my moments of solitude. I love nature, and spend time in my (tiny) little garden (think: dirt patch). What I love best about my garden this year is that I seem to have haphazardly planted my vegetables, and am not quite sure which plants are which at the moment. It will be a surprise, I like that.

I love people, talking, sharing, laughing, drinking...socializing in general.

I love art, though I cant tell you much about it from a professoinal point of view. I know only what I like and what moves me.
