Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, to see the world, and experience different cultures. Although I had heard about couch-surfing before, I've never tried it because, honestly, the idea of staying at a stranger's house in a country that I didn't know, and a language that I possibly didn't speak, scared me a bit.

But the last few times I traveled, I stayed in houses of surfers bc I was traveling with friends that couch surf. And I can honestly say I had the most amazing, genuine and authentic experiences I've had during my travels.

Since then, I am a couch- surfer advocate , and have fallen in love with this network of people that believe in cultural exchange.
