About Me

Coffee enthusiast, book lover and best mom ever (not bragging, my kid thinks so!)

I grew up at the foot of a mountain and my heart got lost on its peak. Today I find a new piece of it on every hiking trip, but Budapest, Belgrade or Milan got a my pulse skyrocketing too. Now I'm starting to think is the act of traveling and expanding horizons that's the special ingredient, and no matter where I've been I found happiness in spades.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see and understand as much as possible about this roundish rock we all use to travel through space.

Interests

Sustainability, urbanism, education, social politics, coffee, arts, permaculture, history, science; too many interests, too little time in a day..

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorites you say..? Tricky, since I fall in and out of love with many books and music genres.
Better add some random facts:

First exam I missed was because I discovered Ismail Kadare: the night before the test I was reading 'Broken April' and forgot about everything else (exam including); meanwhile I've learned to manage my reading addiction.

I was the first to introduce 'Black Mirror' series to all of my friends (very good inspiration for all sorts of topics over coffee with friends, I warmly recommend it to anyone slightly interested in social and technological issues)

Music? YES!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed on highest peak in Romania (2544), and crossed all major mountain chains in my country (and so I got to bathe in a glacial lake, get chased by a crazed donkey, meet very interesting people).

Teach, Learn, Share

Best places in town for food (vegan or otherwise), music or other artistic inclinations you might be curious about. A couch after the long walk in the city, killer omelet and salad for breakfast, and not least - a dash of inspiration if you plan to continue your travels in this beautiful country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My passion for various topics, medium cooking skills (btw - an old saying from my grandma 'there's no bad cooking, only full stomachs'), customs and travel stories, smiles and laughter.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Romania, Serbia
