Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed before with groups of friends in Nebraska, Colorado, Florida and New Mexico, although not technically through this website. I think couchsurfing can be a great way to get a better idea of what's what in a town. It's also a great way to meet new people you'd otherwise probably never get to meet. Everyone I've stayed with has been incredible and unbelievably kind. It's a great experience!

Right now I'm planning a trip out to Washington and Oregon with two of my gal pals for the last two weeks of January. We have friends out there that we are planning on visiting in Yelm, WA and Bend, OR but we are looking for places to stay along the way!

Interests

bike riding, bike mechanics, book reading, book learnin', thrifting, selling things I thrift on ebay at reasonably marked up prices, animal bones and organs, writing and making zines on the occassion, farming vicariously through my farmer friends, listening to and discovering new music, my friends and their lives, and other things too, i'm sure.
