About Me

Hi! I’m a student from Switzerland. Some time ago, I did a gap year where I spent most of my time travelling and met e few fellow couch surfers. I consider myself open-minded, kind and adventurous. I overthink a lot but somehow while travelling I find it easier to shut my mind and let my intuition lead me.

I’ve joined couchsurfing initially when I went to a CS meeting and saw how open the people were. I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere and how these meetings are always full of interesting personalities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling in itself is already great, you learn so many things about yourself and the world and then getting the chance to explore a city like a local sounds just perfect to me. I like to meet people from all over the world and exchange world views and laughter.
Plus I’ve never been to a boring CS meeting, there’s always enough drinks and interesting people with good stories.

Interests

I can spend hours strolling through museums (favourably modern art but also any other is fine too). Further I love getting lost in foreign cities, going to the cinema, reading a book in a cozy café, visiting city markets and walk along a river or the sea.
As for the outdoors I like hiking, snowboarding, skiing, surfing, running and rollerskating.

Spending 10 months abroad in Ireland, getting up at 1am to hike a peak in Sri Lanka and being rewarded with the most beautiful sunset in the morning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I‘m happy to teach anything I have learned so far! I can show you how to cook some traditional Italian and Swiss meals and teach you some words in either language as well.
Wherever I am, I try to learn as many new recipes as possible. I find it interesting how every culture has their own traditions concerning food and meals and nevertheless you can always find similarities to your own.
I am curious about your country and the traditions and eager to learn as many words as I can in your language.

At the moment I’m lerning Spanish.
