I am a positive and smiling girl who graduated in informatic engineering, so I like informatic stuff but that's just one of the many things, I love travelling and I do it as soon as I can, learning different languages and spend time with different people, that's the reason why I am currently spending an au pair experience in Germany!
I like observing and learning the shades that life can take and talking with people and share ideas and points of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am convinced that the best combination is doing a great trip but also meeting new people and experiences, that's why I am on couchsurfing! I am currently au pair in Germany and don't "own a home" in Italy, but I hope I'll be able soon to host people and share my experiences about the places I've been living in.

Interests

I love music and I am a radio speaker in my own country in Italy (currently "on holiday" since I moved to Germany), and I love sports, dancing, cooking, and singing! I've been a violin player and I really enjoy skiing, even if my knees are a little bit crazy and don't want to, but I do not always listen to them :)
I like relaxing by drawing, listening to music, or going out for a walk in the nature, a beer with friends is welcome of course, too, and I definitely love learning foreign languages! That's the reason why I am in Germany now, and when I have free time I also try to learn some other languages..oh I would really like to be able to speak a little bit in each country I'll be able to travel!!
I love going out with my friends and as soon as there is a chance to go to some music festival or concert I'm the first in line!

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up by listening to Doors, Depeche Mode and The Cure with my father and Phil Collins and Tracy Chapman with my mother, but I also love Reggae music and Ska, in my playlist actually there are: The Smiths, Paolo Nutini, Mumford & Sons, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, but also Marvin Gaye, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Cesare Cremonini, Pearl Jam, The Clash and Sigur Ros and not only...

One of the movies who has a special importance for me is "This must be the place", other movies I really liked are "Youth", "Little miss sunshine", "Megamind" (animation movie, but it was sooo funny), "Into the wild", "Moonrise kingdom", "The great Lebowski", and more...

I have to admit that I have been a little Harry Potter addicted, but I like reading novels about social backgrounds and thrillers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One funny thing I've done has happened in Rome, I was there for the graduation of my best friend and in the night after the party we took the car and, since I had never seen Rome before, we'd been driving through the whole city (thing that's quite hard to do during the day, since there's a lot of traffic) and she made me see all the most important places there.. the city was empty, and with the monuments and the buildings it looked like to be there only for us, no people around. It's been kinda magic. Obviously I'll go back to Rome one day to see it under the light of the sun, but I can say I had a pretty good glimpse of the city that night, ended up with breakfast to a good "paninaro onto" :)
