Overview
About Me
I am currently living in Sydney but I plan to travel my way home soon. I love people, talking, dancing, reading, drinking and exploring. And I have a very memorable laugh which I share easily.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A lot of my friends have had really amazing experiences couch surfing and I have always wanted to couch surf. And as I plan to travel my way home I hope that once I settle back near London I will be able to have learnt from my experience and return the favor as a host.
I'm a big people person and I love meeting all kinds of people and what better way to see a place or country than by meeting people who live there.
Interests
I studied at University in England but decided that I wanted to travel and work before settling back at home in the UK.
I spent 5 months backpacking in South America and since graduating have work in hospitality as a bar manager and a hostel manager. I love people and am always ready for a chat about anything and everything. I love reading and movies but also recently gave up smoking to train for the Sydney half marathon (I like beer too much to be remotely close to being an athlete!) which was a big personal achievement for me...especially as I was living in a backpackers at the time.
I also love dancing (clubbing or in my room!) and am always up for going to a gig or concert or trying anything new. Which did include making my friend come with me to a morning rave completely sober...she thought I had lost the plot a bit, especially when we started doing the limbo at 6am,

Music, Movies, and Books
Music. Well my playlists often make no sense. I have a true love for all things Trance, dance and booming which includes going to festivals all through the summer. However I also love to listen a bit of jazz, bands including the Foo Fighters, Micheal Buble (I blame my Mum for that one) and many other.
Favorite book: How could you ever choose. I read a book a week though so I guess I am still looking for it!
Movies: No horror movies. It makes me scared to walk around in the evenings. I do love chick flicks (a guilty pleasure), anything based on a true story and anything with Nicholas Cage (another guilty pleasure.)
