About Me

"Hi! Tiny heads up, I don't currently have access to my Couchsurfing account, so please don't take it personally if you've recently sent me a request and I haven't replied. It's simply that I can't log in with the new requirements, but hopefully I'll be back at some point!:)"

My name is Laura and I'm a biologist from Barcelona, although I currently live in the Netherlands since I'm doing my masters here in Nijmegen.

I (obviously) love to travel as much as I can, although I still have lots and lots of places I wanna go to and the list just keeps on growing. I really like being surrounded by other internationals and meeting people from all over the world, learning about different cultures first-hand is definitely an amazing experience in my opinion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm pretty new here experience-wise because up until now I always had the luck of knowing someone everywhere I travelled to, so you could say I've been couchsurfing with friends but I always wanted to try it and I had my first real couchsurfing experience relatively recently so here I am.

I don't have any big travels planned right now, so my place is your place if you need somewhere to stay for a couple of days, I think couchsurfing is a pretty awesome thing in terms of meeting someone new and welcoming them into your home so we'll see how this goes:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on Erasmus!
Definitely the best experience of my life without a doubt, going abroad by myself for the first time and really living in a different country opened up the wanderlust in me. I immediately fell in love with discovering new cultures and people with different backgrounds, as well as the need to see this beautiful world of ours. It's definitely the reason why I'm doing another adventure abroad right now in the Netherlands after my first erasmus in Sweden. Can't wait to see what'll come next!
