About Me

I'd like to think that I'm a nice and funny girl (but... I'll let you make your own opinion about that !)

I didn't had the opportunity to completely thrive on my studies, it was not what I expected so, I decided to take a gap year this year. I want to travel and discover other cultures, other people, other landscapes and I think I could be able to truly find myself in that way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I didn't want to travel just to take pictures and say "I went to this country you know, I'm soooo fancy". I genuinely want to get to know the country that I visit, and the only way to do that is to get to know the locals and to completely dive into the culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of Rock music ! I am a teenage fan of Sum 41 and Linkin Park (and the teen who lives inside of me can die in peace now that I saw them live in concert). I love Thirty Seconds to Mars, System of a Down, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Prince, The Vines, The Hives... In french music, I like a lot Alain Bashung, Tryo, Damien Saez, Sinsemilia, La rue Kétanou, Fauve, and some french rappers ...
And in the most recent bands and artists, I love Last Train, Skip the Use (french bands too), Highly Suspect, Twenty One Pilots, Kaleo, Nothing But Thieves, Ben Harper, ... And I deeply admire Janis Joplin !
And my favourite song of all time is from The Cinematic Orchestra - To Build a Home !

In my opinion, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is the most beautiful movie ever produced in the whole history of humanity. And I feel quite the same for Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain. I am deeply in love with the Breakfast Club and in general, with the teen movies which take place in the 70s (The Outsiders, American Graffiti, Dazed and Confused, ...)

My favourite writer is probably Jean Christope Grangé, who wrote Les rivières pourpres and many incredible thriller books like Le serment des Limbes, Le vol des cigognes, ... And you absolutely have to read Les fourmis, by Bernard Werber (My vision of ants completely changed with this book ! Really !)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Long conversations, funny stories, jokes (hehe even if I'm pretty bad at it... It's still kind of funny !), music, fun... Well, life !

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, England, Germany, Guyana, Italy, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain
