I moved to Europe a year and a half ago (from the USA) so that I could travel around and see this part of the world. But all of us travelers know that money doesn't grow on trees. So I figured I would give CouchSurfing a go! Yes it's free (obviously a perk), but it's an amazing way to get to know some locals who can shed some light on their city.
