About Me

Hi! I currently live in Newport News, VA, but will be moving to Charleston, SC very soon - it's looking like June 2015. I'm really really excited for this transition and for a new adventure!

I'm a huge fan of all things outdoors and water and summertime. My passion is redemptive/restorative creativity and I'm in the baby stages of starting a handmade recycled stationery + journal business that will one day hopefully employ women who are transitioning out of homelessness.

I'm an introvert and I highly value meaningful conversations and purposeful friendships. I'm learning to be more present, engage in every experience, share my true self with people, and embrace gratitude over anxiety.

I look forward to meeting wonderful new people through couch surfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing a while back from a friend who travelled across the country doing it. It seems like such a wonderful opportunity to make friends, share experiences, and practice hospitality and I'm excited to be a part of it!
