Heyy everyone! ☘️

My name is Laura and in November 2021 I decided to take my backpack and go on an adventure. In the beginning I had no plan where I wanted to go and what I wanted to see, I was just following the "No plan is the best plan" philosophy ;)
But after a few weeks I felt the urge to visit the countries where not so many people travel to. In January 2022 I was lucky enough to visit beautiful Ukraine with it’s incredibly kind people and for myself I would always prefer Eastern Europe over more popular France & Spain (Although these countries are of course also beautiful!).
I want to show and proof to my friends and family and also to myself that there are good people all over the world. Fear should never hold us back to connect to people from other cultures :)

So what else is there about me…
Some friends would describe me as outgoing and very active, while others would describe me as rather quiet and calm. I guess it really depends on the people who are surrounding me.
In my free time, I like to go windsurfing, go on walks, skateboard, and in general, do things outside. I also love to read a good book or to explore the nature around me. So I am a person who loves to do all sorts of outdoor activities, but who also loves to socialize and to listen to stories of all kinds of people 🎶☘️

When I’m not „homeless“ anymore and when I’m back in Germany, I’d be very happy to host travelers from all over the world 🌎❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A lot of travelers recommended me this page and now I want to try it out myself. For the last weeks I was always staying in hostels and I feel it's time for something new and different. I hope to meet people who are actually living in the places I'm going to and to share stories about life and travel :)
I'm sure that people who decide to host on this platform have some interesting travel and life stories to share as well, as it takes some open-mindedness to host complete strangers in their homes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on this trip despite my friends and parents telling me that it’s too dangerous for a young girl to travel. Pushing my limits, stepping out of my comfort zone, hitchhiking for the first time, overcoming the fear of the unknown.
