Let me tell you a little bit about us!

We are Laura and Esteban and traveling is a passion of the both of us. Esteban is 33 and from Colombia and Laura is 31 and from Finland, but we both live in Germany.

Laura grew up in Finland and moved to Germany for her studies in 2007. During her Bachelor's degree in English/American and French Literature and Culture, she studied abroad for one year (USA and France) and during her Master's for another 6 months (Spain). She finished her Master's degree in European Culture and Economy last year.

Esteban grew up in Colombia and moved to Germany in 2011. After finishing his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Colombia and working for a few years in his field, he wanted to gain new exepriences and moved to Germany. Now, after mastering the German language, he continued his studies in International Business and Management.

Today, we have our own online marketing business and we love what we do! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As mentioned before, we absolutely love traveling! And one of the greatest things while doing so is meeting new people! We have made many new friends during our travels - also through couchsurfing! This year (2019) we have already been to Cyprus and our next destination is Ireland in February and would like to surf again :)

We know to value local hosts, their friendliness and possible insider information ;) In addition, we are eager to make new friends on our trips! There is no better way to learn about new cultures and touring around cities than through a local couchsurfer. We also host at our home in Bochum!

Interests

we practice a lot of sports and follow a healthy lifestyle (into paleo right now), we like dancing salsa and bachata, reading mostly non-fiction, personal development, building own business, practicing talking to the camera, ...
