I've been travelling the world for the last 5 years, and I am now living in Bordeaux with my boyfriend Clément, who is French! ☺ I love meeting new people in new places, and I'm very chatty and fun-loving!

Clément and I are flying to Canada on 17th May to start our 2-year working holiday visas. We can't wait to travel around and explore all there is to offer - we hear Canadians are super friendly, so we're really looking forward to couchsurfing as often as possible. We'll eventually settle more and get jobs in either Toronto or Vancouver, but until then it's all about the adventure of flexible travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, swapping stories and making new friends! It would be great to share some experiences with local people and exchange ideas and points of view.

Interests

I am passionate about travel! Most recently, I backpacked solo for 4 months from Hong Kong through China and Mongolia to St Petersburg in Russia via trains!

I also love contemporary dance and the theatre, and would love to try Salsa dancing!

Books: Angela Carter and Jeanette Winterson, and also enjoy everything from Jane Austen and James Joyce to Irvine Walsh and Zadie Smith.
Music: I love 60's rock and roll, Motown, and Deep House for a night out!
Film: I love films by Guy Richie and Tarantino... Snatch is one of my all time favourites!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked with some great charities in Australia, raising awareness with the public and raising a lot of money for cancer research. In the UK I also did a sponsored skydive to raise money for the British Heart Foundation! Scary but a huge rush, and it felt great to make a difference!

I have completed my TEFL course, so I am now qualified to teach English!
