About Me

(I would be accepting guests, but I was getting multiple requests a day, I can only accomodate so much, but give me a shout out if you need to)
I can be pretty quiet sometimes, but don’t mistake that for shyness. If we get the chance to talk about a common interest I might never shut up. I’m a Personal Trainer and Holistic Lifestyle Coach.
I camped out around Canada (AB, BC) in my SUV for a few months so if you like car camping I can show you a few places.
I like to experience new things. Go to new places. Most importantly meet new people. I make friends wherever I go. I love nature, and outdoor activities. I also like to read. I love food, but I’m low FODMAP, so my cooking can get a bit interesting.
I’ve learned to cook all over the world and would love to exchange recipes.
I am also writing a book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve always offered my home up for hospitality. After a friend cancelled to accomodate me, my best friend told me to go to Couchsurfing. I’m so glad I did.

I love almost all music. (Except country)
EDM, 90’s hip hop, 70’s rock, salsa, Bachata, jazz the blues?
Aliens, Jurassic Park, Last of the Mohicans. Schitt’s Creek, Parks & Rec, Shameless.
Ernest Hemingway, Jules Verne, I also like Kathy Reichs because I studied anthropology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the Tongariro Alpine Pass.
Survived bear mace and a broken heart.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning to surf, and one day SCUBA. I like to share experiences, like seeing new views and landscapes. I like to learn to cook food from various cultures, and I can share what I have learned to cook too. I also like to learn new languages. I am Franglais, but my French is rusty, so far I’ve picked up 21 languages, 5 fluent, 13 well, but currently just working on Arabic.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe hospitality goes both ways. I can share my knowledge, limited though it is.
