I’m studying earth sciences in Graz, Austria, but still live in my small home town - or rather village - Hart bei Graz, really close to Graz (It’s a good mixture of city and countryside). There were many reasons for my choice of what to study, but living in Iceland was definitely the first step.

I am a spontaneous, enthusiastic and often chaotic person, most of the decisions I made such as what to study or holidays I went on, I actually planned just a few days before I took the train/bus. I like having my family and friends around me and a funny conversation in a group makes me happy and enjoy the morning/evening/day to its best. :)

In my free time, I travel as much as I can (which is rather common on Couchsurfing I guess :) ). I love to explore a different country, see it’s beauty in the countryside or cities, and get an insight in a different culture. Traveling means for me to experience something I would never think of and to learn from life and situations.

Besides or while travelling, I often do sports. During the winter, I spent most of my free time in the climbing gym, meeting up with friends - compared to the summer time, when I love to experience what the nature of Austria or other beautiful countries offers - hiking, climbing, canoeing… 


Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

It's always nice to get to know people from all over the world and exchange different ways of thinking. I like the idea behind Couchsurfing - people are happy to share their place and help out ‚foreign‘ people they do not know, but are curious to get to know, without expecting anything in return.

Meeting people I didn't know before means for me getting an insight of different ways of thinking, other habbits and of course, maybe a new friendship.
