Overview
About Me
I am living with my 17 year old son in a patchwork family with my fiancé and his daughter. The kids are out for the summer, and I am gardening, continue to build my business in systemic constellation work, and walk our two dogs.
We are a rather quiet family, love to cook and have epic conversations around the dinner table.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to get to know people, and their stories... I actually made that my profession ;-) I love to offer someone a place to stay, as it makes for a much easier time to get to know locals and the insider tips to great places and local attractions. A reason for me to also use couch surfing - aside from the cheaper and less cookie-cutter way of staying in hotels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2012 we built a tiny house on wheels - to live off the grid in the woods of Maine. We added a tipi a year later. As much as I love simple living and adored the fact that I followed my dream here, I have now sold the house and enjoy a much more regular life with running water and a much bigger floor plan ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I currently teach German at a Waldorf School, but also can be found at my local yoga center to give talks on family dynamics, eating disorders, or how our ancestors' trauma can affect us today.
I have also co-published my first book, and keep translating others from German to English.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can't accept guests currently as the Garden Room is still filled with boxes. But once we get to clean it out (this summer!) we would love to be open to hosting you. The Garden room is a light filled room with views into the woods, and next to our patio with grill and tomato plants. It has a separate entrance, but you would share kitchen and bathroom with us.
