Overview
About Me
I am 23 and live with my husband Jarrod who is 25. We have a large dog called Bear who is like our child. We are currently living with my father, Patrick.
Jarrod works as a town planner and I work in sales and marketing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My partner and I decided to join up after meeting a group of couch surfers on a hike up the pinnacles in the coromandel. We have had a number of guests stay with us from around the world and we love meeting new people and sharing stories!
Interests
Jarrod and I both have a love for adventure and travel, we met at a high ropes adventure park where we worked together for a year.
We both enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, exploring, spending time at the beach and drinking beer with good company. We are also mad about music festivals! Jarrod plays the guitar and is a great cook, and I have a tendency to zone out lots and bring home abandoned animals.

Music, Movies, and Books
We appreciate all music and love watching a good live band or local act. We haven't watched television in 2 years - in fact we're not even connected.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We helped build a Giant Weta that shoots flames and took it to Burning Man 2016 as an art installation, it was epic!!
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach you, English, Guitar, Hunting, Fishing, Anything you need to know about New Zealand.
We want to learn more languages, particularly Japanese as we are heading there for the Rugby World Cup in 2019.
We can share a beer, a good laugh, and show you some beautiful spots around wider Auckland.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Jarrod is an excellent cook and I clean and we're definitely not afraid to lend a hand! We were both brought up on farms so aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. We are good with animals too. We can be great company but happy to stick to ourselves and do our own thing as well! Can offer hosts great tips and stories from NZ and a place to stay if you're ever in the country.
