Hey! My name is Laura, I am 24 years old, German living in Amsterdam. Working as marketing manager in the food industry.

After moving around in Germany, living on the western coast of France and settling in Amsterdam, I turned from an always-home-sick girl into someone who enjoys the journey of life and getting inspired through new cultures, connections, places (and food!).

Describing myself in 3 words? Passionate, expressive (means I love to put emotions such as joy into words) and creative. I get super excited about the most simple things which could be a newly created recipe, pleasing cutlery in a café or the smell of fresh coffee beans. In my group of friends I’m known for my random restaurant reservations I make weeeeks in advance and without knowing who’ll join me… usually ending up in having a fun night at a new place with a mixed group of people - which is always great!

Why Couchsurfing? Because I learned stepping out of your comfort zone makes your world so much more fun. I want to get inspired by people I meet here and explore their home and life… returning home with a full, satisfied head and heart.

What we could do together? Cooking! Coffee walks, early mornings, exploring, talking for hours or just staying in silence doing people watching, dancing to groovy music or being creative.
