Overview
About Me
Looking to do some couchsurfing as I've done abroad. Was some of the highlights of a 5 month journey in SE Asia and now would love to do it for a night in LA! I've taught English in Ecuador, Biology in Colorado, and love hiking, eating great food, and trying new things. I love hearing people's stories and learning all I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to get to know the places and people of different areas authentically and believe in the power of trust and connection. I think couchsurfing will allow me to meet great people during my travels, and I want to repay the favor. I'm also on a shoe-string budget, so couchsurfing helps. :)
Interests
Hiking, traveling, coffee, tea, good food, meeting new people, wandering, and smiling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like alternative music (Gregory Alan Isakov, Mumford and Sons, etc.), Goo Goo Dolls, animated movies (I'm a child at heart), and Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire is my favorite book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Ecuador for a year. While I was there I got to go canyoning, visit the rainforest, and more.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to swap stories, walk and explore, share a meal, tea, or coffee.
