About Me
*I’m currently living with my parents again and am not able to host anyone at the moment*
Hi I'm Laura!☀️
I’m 24 years old and grew up in a small town close to Cologne, Germany. I recently finished my Bachelors in something called Earth, Energy & Sustainability in The Hague, Netherlands and am now trying to do a bunch of exciting things before starting my Masters in hopefully October.
Apart from being passionate about science, I am a very environmentally aware person and love to be in nature and generally around everything outdoorsy and adventurous. My field of interest is quite large and I love to learn new things, recipes, skills and experience new environments and alternative ways of living.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As probably everyone on this platform, I love traveling and meeting new people, exchanging stories, experiences and so on. Especially in times of global crises and polarization, I believe listening to different people from different backgrounds is expanding the own horizon incredible much and can be a tiny step towards more kindness on this planet. And even on a local scale it’s simply fun and enriching to talk to new people and hear some new life stories.
And of course there’s no better way to experience a country and it’s culture by staying with a local while simultaneously saving money!
Unfortunately, I never really got to use Couchsurfing as much as I had planned to. Let’s hope that will change in the future:)
