Hello! My name is Laura and I love to meet new people and interact with new people, and learn about new people! I currently am pursuing a master's degree in counseling. My long-term goal is to work in a prison as a counselor or psychologist to help inmates better reintegrate into society!

I just felt like I was writing my resume for a moment...

Anyways, I love snowboarding, exploring new places, writing, reading, and I'm super into beer! Wherever I go, I'll need to try the beer, for sure! I'm also writing a fantasy novel and hope to be like George R R Martin one day, if I can actually sit down and get it written!

I'm in the process of applying to graduate schools all over the US. I'll be traveling for interviews soon and would really like to meet up with people in the area while I'm staying there. I would like to get closer with locals, check out some cool spots, and get some type of grasp of what it's like to live in the area. Anyone who is willing to meet and possibly show me around (so I'm not super lonely!), I would highly appreciate you :)

I'm pretty good at reading ghost stories to people... and I can teach people how to curl their hair with a straightener. :) I believe my "up for (almost) anything/jump outside my comfort zone" attitude will help me serve as a great person to accompany others when they want to try new things!
